Katarina is a cross – disciplinary creative design practitioner, entrepreneur, industry consultant, collaborator, an educator focused on sustainability, innovation, circular design and responsible business models. Graduating from Central St.Martins, she worked with luxury fashion houses such as Alexander McQueen and Gucci, before setting up her eponymous label in Paris. Alongside also Professor of draping at Parsons Paris, later coordinating Fashion Department, developing curriculum, creating collaborative projects between industry and the college. She has worked at UAL from 2013 as Subject Leader in Fashion Arts at LCF, instigating cross-disciplinary projects between fashion, science and technology, later created and led the first cross- school MA Collaborative unit, uniting industry partners and MA students from all postgraduate courses.Industry experience:sourcing, buying, curation, new brand concepts, creative direction for events, fashion shows and store concepts.

She has collaborated with and consulted many brands and projects including EU innovation industry initiatives , circular systems and future fashion projects.

Her expertise lies in fibres, materials, design & manufacturing innovation, circular models and responsible supply chain, sustainability research and communication. She operates as a creative and sustainability consultant, designer, mentor for start- ups and design based projects , lecturer and director of ALIGN.
