Jenny Adholm
Jenny Adholm is a sustainability expert with a proven track record of driving change in the circular economy.
With a MSc in Engineering from Lund University, she has worked across industries to drive innovative, circular solutions and promote long-term sustainability.
She began her journey at IKEA, where she helped introduce circular business principles in the textile sector, supporting the shift toward more sustainable consumer goods. Inspired to push circular solutions further, she pioneered when founding Happy Planet, Sweden’s first circular economy based business model focusing on upcycled consumer products.
She later moved into the construction sector, where she played a key role in building the European Spallation Source, one of the world’s most sustainable research facilities. There, she introduced innovative circular solutions in industrial symbiosis and waste prevention, setting new standards for sustainable construction.
In recent years, Jenny has focused on industrial construction methods, helping to integrate circular design and life cycle principles into standard methods. Now transitioning into circular economy entrepreneurship, she continues to explore new ways to make circular solutions the norm, driving innovation and lasting change.
